“I had faith, and so I spoke.” 2 Corinthians 4:13

Hello to you all on this beautiful Sunday! Today marks a new beginning for me with my writing. A new journey with a fresh purpose. This is my first post on my new blog Simply Filled. After much contemplation, prayer, and reflection I have decided to design a new blog with a more concrete purpose and message. My previous blog Life On Full Online was a wonderful beginning for me, but I felt it lacked a defined objective. My writing and experimentation on that platform has led me to create Simply Filled-simply living and loving through His grace.

My hope for this new blog is to lead others to find God’s grace and love through gratitude for life’s beautiful simplicities. I truly believe that by simplifying our lives and clearing the noise and the “stuff” we leave more room for God. We are better able to see and hear Him in our lives, which is the true path to abundant living. Sure there will always be room for improvement in our lives, but by expressing gratitude for all the things He has blessed us with now we can live truly joyfully regardless of our circumstances.

Find new happiness in your beautiful life.

Topics that will be covered include faith, marriage, wellness, and the homestead (where I will share ways that I personally pursue Him through simple living). I will be re-vamping some of my old posts from Life On Full Online that are currently posted on this site. I will share weekly posts each Sunday, which you can subscribe to on my homepage at the sidebar on the right. You can also follow me on Facebook page “Simply Filled”, my Instagram account “@simplyfilled”, and on Pinterest under username “simplyfilled.”

I can’t tell you how excited I am to begin the journey of creating my work on Simply Filled. Though I have known for a while that I wanted to write, I have struggled to know exactly what the purpose of my writing should be. Health, the country lifestyle, cooking; these are all options I contemplated. There were so many things I felt I wanted to share, but could not figure out exactly the message I wanted to convey to you all. It has taken me a long time and a lot of guts to figure out that writing a Christian Lifestyle blog was the focus I am meant to pursue. Sharing my thoughts and my work is a scary thing because it’s personal, but I know if God has lead me to it He will see me through it!

“She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25

At the risk of sounding cliche’, I truly believe God has called me to write this blog. I don’t just think of this blog as a place for me to rant my thoughts, but rather a ministry. Throughout my adult years I have felt a strong nudge to pursue ministry in some way, but I knew the obvious path of becoming a minister was not God’s plan for me. I pray that this ministry will help you in whatever way you may need. Whether it’s advice, encouragement, or simply a happy place for you to go and be with God, I will strive to make this a place where you can find joy.

Before I go any further, I just want to say THANK YOU so much for stopping by! As I mentioned earlier you can follow me on the social media accounts named above and subscribe for weekly updates on the homepage. So, I invite you to pour a hot cup of coffee, curl up in your coziest place, and join me for a dose of goodness anytime. I can’t wait to share and connect with you all!

    1. Keisha, I so appreciate the sweet compliments! It took a lot of work and A LOT of Googling “how to…..” to get my blog looking halfway decent 🙂 I strive to be authentic, though it’s sometimes scary, so your comments mean a lot. Recently read one of your blog posts as well, and YOU are doing a wonderful job! Love your application of repeating a mantra of sorts, we all need to tell Satan “not today!”

  2. “find God’s grace and love through gratitude for life’s beautiful simplicities

This is an amazing focus and I look forward to learning more about your journey and reading more of your words!
